Last week was Thanksgiving break for me. A very much needed break. It was the best Thanksgiving ever. The whole family was together for the first time in a few years and it was Timmy's first Thanksgiving =) Our parents drove out here from South Dakota, non-stop. We all kind of helped out with making food. Nicole did the turkey and gravy and 2 pumpkin pies and green bean casserole (yuuuummy!!!) and cranberry sauce. Dad made the stuffing and mashed potates. Mom made the sweet potatoes. I baked a cherry pie and helped out with random stuff. I decorated the table with some help from my roomie, Chrystal. If I do say so myself, it looked pretty awesome =)
aaaaand it looked even better with all the food on it.
Over break I got a lot of quality Timmy-time =) except when his Grandma and Grandpa were there (Grandma hogged him lol). He's my little buddy and he's the cutest, sweetest little boy ever! =)
It was awesome having my parents around for the week. I've missed them soooo much. You don't realize how much you miss your parents til you're away from home for a few months. I had missed all those random hugs, so i got/gave Mom and Dad toooons of those this past week, it was awesome =)
I'll be back home in about 3 weeks. I've got 2 weeks of class left this semester then finals week. AAHHHHH!!!! It's so crazy that I'm almost finished with my first semester of college!! weeeeeird!!!!
