So my room seems to have the best of luck with water/bathroom problems. First we have no hot water for about a week. Then we have a massive literal waterfall from the ceiling vent in our bathroom, floods our bathroom and leaks through the wall onto the carpet and filling up half a garbage can full of water. Then two weeks later, it happens yet again. although this time not as bad. Do plumber people not know how to fix the toilet/plumbing right the first time anymore? And do they not know that fixing a problem isn't just cleaning up the mess, you gotta fix the actual toilet or it's bound to happen. We should just put an umbrella holder in our bathroom and a warning on the wall that says "Caution, water may start falling from ceiling vent, if so, use umbrellas provided".
On the happy note, the weather has been pretty nice here lately. The air is slightly chilly yet the sun is still warm and feels really nice. The leaves have changed a TON and look so pretty with all the brick buildings =)
The people at Starbucks will probably know me and my roommate Chrystal by name pretty soon since we go there so often. Those are some funny coffee trips. I'm sooo happy there is starbucks on campus =) but those trips will be slowing down because i'm running out of my flex dollars *tear* =( but that's ok because Starbucks is not the healthiest thing for you...
Recent movies watched:
Seven Pounds. Great movie. I loved it, and it was different from any movie i've seen which i like in a movie because they're gettin pretty similar these days, repeating story lines and stuff.
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Not that great of a movie. It looked super funny, but only some parts were funny. You'd think since Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConoughy were in it it'd be good, wrong. It was a little dumb.
The Proposal. saw it in theaters this summer. Rented it yesterday to watch on my laptop and to my luck it didnt work on my computer. stupid technology. Oh well. it was a really good movie though.
SOOOOOOO excited for New Moon to come out in exactly a month from today!!! =D WOOT WOOT!!!!
Can't wait for December when i get to go home for a month. I miss my family toooons. and my animals.
So I've recently found a couple bands/singers that I really like:
The Spill Canvas. They're pretty awesome aaaaand they're local! They live in Sioux Falls, SD, so that's pretty cool.
Bethany Joy Galeotti. She's got an aaaaammaaaazing voice!! she plays Haley James Scott on One Tree Hill(my fave show) lol.
Well that's all for now.
=)
XOXO,
Lindsey the Bookworm
