Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everybody!! Hope you all had a great New Years! =)
Oh how I love having a month off for Christmas, it is indeed very nice. Especially without any homework or tests to worry about after break =)
Having a month off definately gives one a lot of time to do alot lol. Such as decluttering and learning how to sew/make aprons. But also, when you get tons of snow dumped on you so you're litterally stuck for a week, one might just go stir crazy. Lucky me, my welcome home was around two feet of snow and being stuck on our property for about a week!! woohoo!!!...NOT fun!! we're finally dug out and have been having blue skies which are very nice to have, although now it's freeeezing cold out, like single digits and negatives. not fun. I'm very glad that i was stuck at home though, and not the Minneapolis airport, that would have majorly sucked.
When i flew home I overheard people's conversations who were trying to get to the East coast, and things for those people weren't looking so good around then. Flights were being cancelled and delayed. Not much was going out of the eas coast. I was so glad that I did not live there and that it didn't affect any of my flights.
Back to things to do while I'm home. My mom is teaching me how to make aprons, and then I hope to be able to make aprons, and maybe possibly sell them, so I'd kinda have my own apron line unofficially, which i think would be pretty awesome. My plans are also to open a bakery, or what i might call "The Cakery", a place where you can get cake(obviously), but not just whole cakes, you could just get a slice or two if you wanted. But, anyways, back to the aprons, I hope to maybe make a bunch of aprons and then one day have them hang in my bakery and be for sale if anyone wanted to buy one. They would be affordable, under $20, because there are aprons, but the ones i find are either super expensive, or not very cute. These will be super cute and inexpensive, depending on the style and how much materials cost me. Maybe i'll show them on my blog when i'm done. If you have any ideas what i could call my "line" of aprons, let me know, cuz i have no idea what i would call it. =)
Hope you all had a marvelous New Year and that 2010 will be a splendid year for all of you!!
XOXO,
Linds ~ The BookWorm
