Woo i've been in school about 2 weeks now. Sorry i havent written for awhile. College is totally awesome, not as scary as i thought, or really scary at all. I thought it would be insanely hard leaving my home where everything is, which was hard, but bein on my "own" is pretty sweet. i do miss my family like crazy but half of them is here, i've got my sisters and bro-in-law and now my new sweet GORGEOUS nephew, Timothy David =)
Timothy was born August 25 at 2:01 pm. he weighed 8lbs and 15.4 ounces(almost 9lbs!!) and 21 inches. he is absoulutely PERFECT!! and he will be one of the most spoiled little boys in the world!! (especially since his 2 aunties live 40 minutes away!) Sitting in a waiting room, waiting for someone, makes the day go by soooo slow. but finally when Timmy was about to come it went by faster. Poor Nicole went through about 34 hours of labor, and around 3 hours of pushing, until they had to do a c-section to get Timmy out(he's a stubborn little boy!). but they finally got Timmy out. yaaaay!!! so that was a veeery eventful long day.
I love Boise, i love Boise State University! out of the few colleges i've been to, this is the one i actually feel i belong to, other colleges i just feel out of place, here, it feels right. so i'm really happy that everything is going great and all my classes are good and i like them. I was worried it was going to be horrible and scary and that i would hate it here, but i dont, i love it. and my roomies are pretty cool too, which definately helps. =)
I definately miss all my critters. Steph and I went to Petsmart to look at hamsters for her, and we went into the cat adoption area and looked at all the cute cats(some veeery fat ones too) and it made me miss all my animals. if only dorms let you have cats or dogs or hamsters instead of slightly lame fish(sure they're fun to look at and watch, but you cant take a fish for a walk or snuggle with a fish or pet a fish or play fetch or anything, so fish are no fun).
Boise is extreeeeemely hot. which is normal cuz it's a desert area, and desert gets hot. but walking to class in the heat is not fun. but i'd rather it be hot and dry than kinda hot and humid. humidity is not fun. I'm excited for the fall. there's so many trees here, it'll be sooo pretty when they all start changing and leaves start falling =)
For all those Twilight lovers out there: New Moon comes out in 2 months!!!!!! Woooooo!!!!! who's totally psyched? cuz i am! i know my mom is excited for it(I got her hooked on Twilight! yay me!! now i just have to get Stephanie to like Twilight....). so November 20, 2009, movie theaters are going to be full of screaming girls(and maybe some guys...) so watch out all you non-twilight people, leave the theaters free on that day or you may get trampled by the psycho fangirls who dont know how to not go insane over a movie... lol.

On the recently read book list of mine would be: Perfect Chemistry by Simon Elkeles(veeery good book); Two Way Street by Barnholdt; Dark Secrets:Book 1 by Elizabeth Chandler; Blue Moon(book 2 of the immortal series) by Alyson Noel. and there's maaany more but i cant remember them all. but they were all VERY GOOD! at least to me they were good...but different people have different book tastes.
That's all for now. i will write again soon...maybe.

Lindsey
